we're silly- no doubt about it!
mirror me
One day Lucy asked if she could wear neigh in the bjorn.
Here Lucy has neigh in the bjorn and sheepy in the stroller- mirroring a common "dad" scenario: max in the bjorn and Lucy in the stroller.
We don't have a picture but just the other day she was pushing the toy shopping cart around the house when she received a "phone call" on her cell from me (liz) and what ensued was exactly thee conversation Andrew and I would have if he was out shopping at the store with the kids. A little sponge!

Book fair
This past weekend we attended the One Book Two book fair. Several children's book characters were there including corduroy, maisy, biscuit and the wild thing. Of course, everyone, including Lucy, was terrified of him (note to organizers: next year no hideous scary monsters!) but max was willing to get his picture taken (he didn't scream too much!) right before we left lucy was brave enough to stand near corduroy and have her picture taken. We're working on our 'nice smile'. :)
Dinorama
The cold weather is here, but luckily we have these awesome dinosaurs from Grandma Sal to entertain us! Once the blocks got involved as props, the creative juices really started to flow like, um, liquid lava! Or a bubbling stream. See the volcano and the river? We've created waterfalls, trees with "fruit" underneath, cliffs (coffee tables) and caves. It's great fun to be a kid again!
